Following their run up the tallest mountain last summer, the ‘Climb For Tibet’ team sent out Peace Messages from the World’s tallest building on 6th May 2004. This is the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada’s meeting place of all nations, standing at a height of 553 metres (1,813 feet).

The Peace Messages had been collected here principally during the Kalachakra for World Peace gathering, blessed by the presence and teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. His Holiness had been met by Paul Martin, the Prime Minister of Canada and universally welcomed in the media as a great spiritual leader with answers for the Peace of our Earth. His moving public address on the Power of Compassion had been attended by and touched the hearts of 30,000 people.

To a rather smaller audience of 300, the ‘Climb For Tibet’ team presented a ‘Journey of Light Across Tibet’ with slides and a unique fashion show. This was the latest collection by Migmar Tsering, Tibet’s biggest and brightest fashion designer with world-wide recognition. Useful funds were raised for the ‘Building Schools in Tibet’ programme.

Upholding the light of the Tibetan Spirit to help World Peace.
