London O2 arena – Sept 19thThe Dalai Lama was welcomed by Tibetan children with the song of swirling auspiciousness. In thanking them he said it was their responsibility to carry the Tibetan spirit onwards. Likewise amongst his laughing wisdom he reminded the thousands in the arena that the responsibility to build a happy humanity rests with each individual.

What can we do?

In our daily lives we can think about our inner values, work on our emotional hygiene and let our inner beauty shine. This will make us happy. We can move on from the old thinking of separation into the reality of the oneness of humanity, focussing on the wellbeing of others. After all, each of us 7 billion humans is the same in wanting happiness and in holding the seeds of infinite love and compassion. So let us know that this century can be peaceful. Let us work hard with courage, self confidence and optimism. And do our best with sincere motivation.

Thank you for inspiring millions of us across the world to become better human beings.
