A big thank you to everyone who supported the special ‘Book Launch and Peace Evening’ at The Spread Eagle in December. We are delighted that funds raised from this has enabled the education sponsorship of two beautiful Tibetan girls in Northern India, via the Tibet Relief Fund. They come from very poor families with parents who have had no chance of any schooling and yearn for a future for their children. The girls’ education is now secured.Sonam Sangmo is 14 yrs old and her dream is to become a teacher. Urgyen Khando is 15 yrs old and she wants to bring her family out of poverty.They have written very warm and touching letters of thanks.
