All the team are struggling to find enough time for the all-important fitness training in busy lives. Perhaps it will come down to the mind preparation with the few words… “We KNOW we can do it!” …

Pete and Tess walked across France up the Loire River for 10 days to a 4-day Tibetan wedding (that was the tough bit!). And they have recently completed a three day tyre-pull along the Greensands Way to the highest point in S.E.England (Leith Hill). This added to the local interest in the up-coming sport of tyre-pulling…

Much of the team had a successful meet in North Wales to give experience to those who had not climbed mountains before and brought together a good team spirit They ascended Pen Yr Ole Wen 978 metres, from Ogwen; Carnedd Dafydd 1044 metres; Carnedd Llewelyn 1064 metres (2nd highest in Wales) and Craig Yr Ysfa approx 800 metres. Followed by Y Garn 947 metres via Devils Kitchen. All survived (!) and also enjoyed a special evening to celebrate the twelth birthday of the World Peace Flame at Snowdonia Lodge.

“We KNOW we can do it!” …
