Strength from the Mountains

It's humbling to stand in the snow-fields of a vast mountain valley and listen to the silence. It's awe-inspiring to be allowed where humans enter only occasionally, tiptoeing on ski-extended feet, eyes sweeping the beauty... heart touching the joy of the Earth... And know the strength. .. feeling the magic.

Eight of us climbed up the ramparts and skied into the Vallon de la Sache today, here in the French Alps. The sun shone on new snow. The wind calmed. We stood in awe for a moment and felt the magic, asking that this strength and beauty be sent out from the mountains to the far points of the Earth... carrying peace to all parts of our planet that needed it. What a privilege.
