Sending blessings far and wide for Losar, the Tibetan New Year - The year of the wood snake... bringing wisdom, intuition and mystery... and importantly, strength to stand against negativity.
The world faces cleansing as we move into a more peaceful era. This brings up all manner of negativity, which causes outpourings of anger, fear and disbelief. Let us remember that we as individuals are not powerless. We have the choice... either to hold 'dreadfulness' and so add to the negativity... or to try and rise above the emotion and hold peace, love and joy and so add to the positive light. This is powerful beyond measure. Light from a few loving hearts shines far and wide and counteracts all darkness.
Friends Marcia, Jane and myself carried peace to the far corners of our ski area, (The Pisaillas glacier at 3,140m, Fornet Village at 1,930m, the top of the Motte at 3,456m and Brevieres at 1,500m) here in the French Alps. We braved the cold and reached out to the far four corners, a microcosm of the far corners of the planet. We worked hard to hold the peace energy. And placed prayer-flags at each point to send blessings out on the wind-horse.
The snow lions on the Tibetan flag represent courage. Let us follow the Tibetan example and find the courage to stand against negativity with love and light in our hearts... It is powerful beyond measure.
