It was New Year. I stood atop Holdstone Down in North Devon - a sacred hill where it's said messages of light appear on the stillness of ocean winds - and was reminded that our essential personal energy touches not only our path ahead but, by default, that of the whole Earth.
Knowing that our presence makes the difference, depending on the vibration we give out, it got me wondering... How do we want our lives to be? How do we want the world to be? For together we are the builders of the future. Our thoughts, words and actions are the bricks and mortar.
I saw the importance of setting our intentions mindfully.... of choosing them lovingly, with positivity and hope - and awareness of future generations.
With my son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and friends, I dipped into the cold dark ocean under a starlit sky - letting go all not needed from 2024. Then communed with a beautiful fire on the beach into which we threw our New Year resolutions written on slips of paper. The sparks of light took them out across the world on the magical wind:-
